Attractors

Emergence from Nothingness · Physics to Neuroscience

Now in time is the same as Here in space. From Big Bang to neural oscillations — Theta binds, Alpha gates, Gamma ignites.

Nataraja

The universe rises through levels of emergence, from dust to cell, from cell to brain, from brain to mind.

At each level, new properties appear that cannot be reduced to the level below.

The arc of complexity bends toward deeper organisation.

In the brain, oscillations create temporal order through rhythm and synchrony.

Theta binds sequence, alpha gates attention, and gamma ignites the unity of perception.

The thalamus helps conduct this hidden orchestra of becoming.

The mind is shaped by many classes of attractors, perceptual, emotional, mnemonic, motor, and conceptual.

Each one is a basin into which activity tends to fall and stabilise.

Human life becomes the interaction of countless such basins, overlapping, competing, and reinforcing one another.

Among them, the self stands out as a powerful meta-attractor.

Agency appears where attention, plasticity, and choice can reshape these inner basins.

Free will is not absolute independence, but the capacity to modify the attractors that govern us.

Chaos does not mean disorder only, but patterned unpredictability within deeper law.

Consciousness may itself resemble a strange attractor, stable yet never exactly repeating.

Svabhava returns as the wave-pattern of one’s own becoming, the signature hidden within motion.
